I could talk for days about the lessons learned in Allison's training: "Be
a servant," "learn your Bible," "love on your audience." But
the lesson that rises above them all is, "Communicate the Gospel." Allison
teaches us to break through the invisible wall that often divides the
performer from the audience. She encourages us not to sing to a 'crowd',
but to sing to hearts and souls. Great songs, perfect pitch, and beautiful
tones mean nothing if we're not using it all to spread the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. I completely recommend Allison's training to anyone seeking
to build an honest, inspiring, life-changing music ministry.

Allison Durham Speer is one of the most incredible people
I have ever had the chance to meet. I have seen her on the Gaither stage and
was blown away by her voice. However her voice is only an extension of her
heart. She is wise in so many areas of music and technique, but the way
she teaches with such love and patience is what stands out the most.
Brian and Allison are the kind of people you can walk up and talk to
like you've known them for years. I highly value their professional opinions
and Godly teaching. Since my time with them, I have not only gained more
confidence and ability on stage but have been blessed with two great
friends.

Allison’s performance training is one class that I don’t
like to miss while attending Stamps-Baxter School. Her vocal training
techniques and stage presence training are beyond compare. They’ve
helped my group go from a ‘deer in the headlights’ look to
a much more relaxed, polished, and professional performance. I would
highly recommend Allison’s performance training not only for groups
but for solo artists as well. Keep up the great work Allison!

Allison’s training was greatly beneficial for our group in many
ways. First of all, she helped us vocally, which wasn’t a surprise
considering her knowledge and history of music. Allison also tremendously
helped us with stage presence and audience interaction as well. What
we really like about Allison's concerts is how she makes people feel
like a part of her family, and she helped us to better understand how
to make our concerts more like hers but still make it our own. Allison

Allison Durham Speer
possesses the awesome ability of a great communicator. Many who have
enjoyed hearing her perform understand this, yet may not realize that
Allison has offered to share that knowledge with others. It
is one thing to be available to audiences, singing from the heart with
a gift that surpasses her amazing vocal talent, but she has a special
ability to be vulnerable and open that allows her to win her listener’s
hearts. Allison took time to spend with me personally, and I’ll
be forever grateful for that. She not only has knowledge in many
areas of musical performance, she can communicate that knowledge to others. Other
instructors may be able to recognize needs a performer has that would
enhance their ministry, but I believe few would take the time to do so
in the loving manner that Allison does.
I returned home last year from the Stamps-Baxter School absolutely
elated with the experience. And the biggest reason was Allison
Durham Speer!! After five years, I felt that I wasn’t getting
much new information. I knew I was ready to take the next steps
to grow my music ministry, but didn’t know quite how. I cannot
tell you how re-energized my music ministry was because of what Allison
brought to the school last year. Since being a part of her performance
classes, my ministry has grown tremendously in quality and effectiveness. I
could send you pages of things that I took with me from Allison’s
input and also pages of examples of how those things have impacted my
ministry. This short paragraph can’t begin to describe it. What
a resource!
